During operation it may happen, that a filled cylinder falls down and suddenly releases the entire cylinder content, either by an unintentional opening or a broken-off valve. This may lead to the cylinder flying around and thus causing damages to property and / or injury to persons in the worst case.
The installation of an Excess Flow Valve (EFV) can prevent such devastating effects. In case of a sudden release of the cylinder content, this safety device reduces the flow and thus prevents the cylinder from flying around – a simple and effective solution to protect lives!
